To provide a dryer capable of heating air to be discharged to a housing chamber to a high temperature and effectively preventing heat from being stuck.
The washer/dryer 100 provided with the housing chamber 10 for housing laundry (objects to be dried) for executing the drying operation of the laundry in the housing chamber 10 comprises: a refrigerant circuit 20 composed by successively and annularly piping and connecting a compressor 21, a gas cooler 22, an expansion valve 23 and an evaporator 24; an air route 52 for discharging air heat-exchanged with the gas cooler 22 into the housing chamber 10 by a blower 75 and heat-exchanging the air passed through the housing chamber 10 with the evaporator 24; and a damper 50 as a switching means for switching to an inside air circulation mode for sending the air heat-exchanged with the evaporator 24 to the gas cooler 22 by the blower 75 and an outside air introduction mode for introducing outside air to the gas cooler 22 by the blower 75 and discharging the air heat-exchanged with the evaporator 24 to the outside.
