To give an accurate warning (notification) by identifying a user (or a host apparatus) who (or which) leaves a printout placed on a paper output tray.
A print job management part 1053 reads an RFID of a slip sheet, which is ejected at the tail of paper, by using an RFID reader 110a of the paper output tray 16, and gives the user's terminal 300 warning about a state where the printout is left standing, after a lapse of a predetermined time under the unchanged state of the reading. The part 1053 also gives the user's terminal 300 warning about the nonreturn of the slip sheet, when it is determined that the slip sheet is not returned to a manual feed tray 20 even after a lapse of a predetermined time (e.g. one minute), though the RFID of the slip sheet, which is returned to the tray 20, is read by an RFID reader 110b of the tray 20 serving as a slip sheet tray, so that the paper can be recovered from the tray 16.
