To provide inexpensive and stable traveling characteristics without the need for a drive shaft, a differential gear, a separation mechanism or an expensive inverter.
A pair of induction motor 21R and induction motor 21L has characteristics generating a torque by a speed difference between a rotating field and a rotor. One right-rear wheel RR or one left-rear wheel RL slips. When the load of the induction motor 21R or the induction motor 21L directly connected to the one of rear wheels becomes a light load, a current flows through the induction motor 21R or the induction motor 21L connected to the other side of the rear wheels. Thus, the torque is transmitted to the right-rear wheel RR or the left rear wheel RL and can be imparted with of limited slip differential (LSD) functions, and escape performance from the stack is enhanced more than that of conventional electric four-wheel drive vehicles.
