Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monitoring camera and an executable monitoring system from a remote post, whereby the static image, when detecting an alarm, can be displayed on a monitor with a high resolution. SOLUTION: After transmitting to the monitor of a security company present in a remote post via ISDN the dynamic image fed from a dynamic-image- oriented signal processing circuit 24, when sensing an alarm signal, a static- image oriented signal processing circuit 25 is so started as to transmit a static- image signal to the monitor. Also, when starting the static-image oriented signal processing circuit 25, its ambient illuminance is, detected from an illuminance sensor 30 so as to compare the illuminance with a preset photographing illuminance. Further, there is provided a monitoring camera 21 having a CPU 34 for emitting a flashlight 31, so as to obtain the preset photographing illuminance when the sensed illuminance is low.
