Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe hot water reserving water heater that does not allow high temperature hot water of a quantity corresponding to expansion of volume to be discharged when the water in a hot water tank of the water heater is boiled and prevents the high temperature hot water from being discharged at an initial stage of discharge after being boiled. SOLUTION: A check valve 12 is provided in a hot water discharge pipe 4 so that the hot water of a quantity corresponding to the expansion of the volume in a hot water tank 2 can be prevented from flowing to a hot-water/ water mixing means 11 side in a downstream side, and heat of the high temperature hot water can be prevented from being transferred to water in the hot- water/water mixing means 11 and a bypass pipe 13. Thus, water showing a small temperature change and having a proper temperature can be obtained safely and stably.
