Abstract:

To lower a burden of an installation worker by a simple structure and to easily, quickly, and highly precisely photograph an iris.

This iris photographing device 200 carries out a photographing action when a recognition target X looks at a zoom lens 202 of an iris photographing camera 201 while bringing his/her eye (an iris periphery part X1) into contact with an iris input adapter 100 carried by his/her hand X2. A light source part 101 is arranged in the ring form around the circumference of a peep hole 103 formed in the iris input adapter 100. The ring-shaped light emitted from the light source part 101 is photographed as a ring-shaped image even in a wide-angle shot of the whole of face taken by the iris photographing device 200. The iris photographing device 200 extracts a ring-shaped characteristic pattern part from an image captured via the wide-angle shot and performs magnification imaging of the characteristic pattern for photographing the iris periphery part X1.
