To provide an inexpensive entrance/leaving control system by which both of entering and leaving are controlled.
The entrance/leaving control system is doubly provided at an entrance and an exit of a room and has: a first door at an outdoor side and a second door at an indoor side open and closed by detecting users approaching from the outdoor side and the indoor side, respectively; a registration device issuing a portable information storage medium storing personal identification data on the user; a storage section storing the personal identification data obtained from the registration device and entrance/leaving history data by associating the personal identification data with the entrance/leaving history data; an entrance/leaving admission section admitting entrance/leaving when the same personal identification data as the personal identification data obtained from the portable information storage medium of each user entered into the entrance or the exit is stored on the storage section; and a determination section used for an entering or leaving person and having an entrance/leaving determination/door control section determining the entrance or leaving of the user based on the entrance/leaving history data on the storage section, issuing an instruction for opening the second door when the entrance is determined or the first door when the leaving is determined, and rewriting the entrance/leaving history data in the storage section.
