Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treating device which is capable of performing biological treatment consisting of aerobic treatment and anaerobic treatment with a single vessel and is capable of simultaneously performing membrane separation as well, and to provide a water treating system having the same. SOLUTION: The water treating device for making the solid-liquid separation of raw water and biologically treating the contaminants in the raw water has a separation vessel 11, a separation membrane module disposed in the separation vessel 11, and an air diffusion means which is disposed in the separation vessel 11 below the separation membrane module and upwardly generates gas. The water treating device which is further provided with a carbon fiber unit 3 within the separation vessel 11 below the air diffusion means is used. The carbon fiber unit 3 is disposed within the anaerobic atmosphere in the lower part of the separation vessel 11, by which anaerobic bacteria are adsorbed to the carbon fiber surfaces and the anaerobic treatment may be efficiently carried out. The aerobic treatment is carried out in the upper part of the separation vessel 11.
