To provide a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell supplying stable voltage by preventing flowing in of mist and spray into a gas flow path.
A gas conduction manifold is formed in a higher part in the direction of gravity than a gas ejection manifold, a gas ejection opening is formed in a higher part in the direction of gravity than the gas ejection manifold and furthermore, the connection angle α of a gas conduction opening is made to be 90°<α≤180° in the direction of gravity in the solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell. Moreover, it is preferable that the cross section of the connecting part of the gas induction manifold and the gas flow path is greater than an average cross section of the gas flow path.
