To provide a probe system for an optical measuring apparatus for living body, in which all of probes are easily stuck to the scalp and probes autonomously fit a head shape.
When the surface of a spherical body is converted to a plane, the surface of the spherical body can be developed into a plane shape by the polyconic projection as showed in (a), (b). The probe system of this invention is constructed so that, applying conversion of a spherical body surface to a plane, in a shell part 201 placing and holding a plurality of probes 202 in a lattice shape, probes 202 in the center part are connected in one direction so that probes 202 in a direction perpendicular to the connection axis of the connected probes 202 are placed at positions apart from a neighboring probe 202 away from the connection axis. Also the shell part 201 autonomously deforms by drawing in two directions to a plurality of branch-extended positions.
