Abstract:
To provide a sliding mechanism which has a long life by suppressing the deformation of a washer 3.
The sliding mechanism 1 comprises a shoe 2 and the washer 3 which mutually slide. The first sliding surface 2A of the shoe 2 to be brought into sliding contact with the sliding surface 3A of the washer 3 has a central region 2a which is swelled outward than an outside region 2b. In addition, the back surface 3B of the washer 3 is provided with an annular groove 3C formed in the peripheral direction. Because the annular groove 3C has been formed on the back surface 3B of the washer 3, the warping-up of the outer peripheral portion of the washer 3 in the heated state can be suppressed.
