Title:
可変焦点レンズ、光学系および撮影装置
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4532651
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element having a structure by which a lens power can be controlled efficiently with a small-sized configuration by using the electro wetting phenomenon and to provide an optical system and a photographing device which house the optical element or the like having a variable power structure in a lens element. SOLUTION: The optical element has a refractive power and is equipped with conductive or polar first and second liquids whose refractive indices are different substantially, which do not mix each other. The side face of the container of the optical element is inclined at a prescribed angle to the optical axis. These liquids are sealed in the container in the state where the boundary faces of the first and second liquids form the shape of large round state. The optical refraction power to pass is changed by controlling the output of a voltage to be applied and changing the boundary face shape when applying a voltage between these liquids through an electrode formed at a region not disturbing the passage of light flux.
