Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folder gluer capable of forming a flat box to an extremely high dimensional precision, even when a blank of varying thickness is used. SOLUTION: A belt hold-down roller 22 is provided at a position where panels P1 and P4 on both ends of the blank B are folded almost 90 deg. downward by the carrier-side belt 15a of a folding belt 15 between the belt 15a and a folding ruler 14. In addition, a position adjusting mechanism X which supports the roller 22, in a freely position adjusting manner, against the folding ruler 14 and adjusts the position of the roller 22 and a control part 30 which controls a motor 29 for the position adjusting mechanism X are provided. A signal corresponding to the thickness of the blank B is entered to the control part 30 and the position of the roller 22 is adjusted so that the interval between the carrier-side belt 15a and the folding ruler 14 almost coincides with the thickness of the blank B based on the input signal. Thus the folding precision of the panels P1 and P4 on both sides of the blank B is increased so as to obtain the flat box of high dimensional precision.
