Abstract:
PURPOSE: A magnesium oxide powders containing fluorine and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase light-emitting efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of magnesium oxide powders containing fluorine comprises the following steps: mixing magnesium oxide material powder with fluorine source powder; putting the mixture into a crucible; and plasticizing the crucible after covering the lid. The fluorine source powder is magnesium fluoride powder. The magnesium oxide material powder has purity of 99.95 mass% or greater and BET non-surface area of 5-150m/g. The powder mixture contains fluorine source powder within a range of 0.015-10/3mass unit based on 5mass unit of the magnesium oxide material powder.
