To find out a novel antagonistic microorganism utilizable for microbial materials that have fixed thereon the antagonistic microorganism with its activity maintained and are swollen with water in soil when used to restore the life activity of the antagonistic microorganism, and to provide an excellently practicable microbial material that exhibits functions as a so-called agrochemical against white root rot or violet root rot of a fruit tree such as an apple or potato scab more effectively.
The microbial material comprises at least the antagonistic microorganism and a solid nutritious medium, where the antagonistic microorganism comprises a Trichoderma asperellum F-288 strain (accession number: NITE P-53).
