Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polypropylene compositions capable of giving excellent molded products well-balanced with respect to transparency, impact resistance, flexibility, heat resistance, mar resistance and the like. SOLUTION: Polypropylene compositions comprise (i) a syndiotactic polypropylene and (ii) a crystalline propylene/α-olefin copolymer containing 50-99 mol% propylene component units and 1-50 mol% 4-20C α-olefin derived component units (A) (provided that the sum of the component units of copolymer (ii) of 100 mol%) at a weight ratio [(i)/(ii)] of component (i) to copolymer (ii) of 95/5 to 5/95, and copolymer (ii) having a heat of fusion, measured by a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC), of not smaller than 0.7 J/g, an intrinsic viscosity [η], measured in decalin at 135 deg.C, of 0.01-10 dl/g, a molecular weight distribution by GPC of not greater than 4, and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not higher than 20 deg.C.
