To provide a speech recognition type management system for providing food and drink with which misinput and misrecognition can be suppressed during speech input accompanied by speech recognition and prescribed management can be accurately performed.
In the case of a speech recognition type management system for rotating sushi bar, sushi dishes 6b are placed within a read range of an IC tag reader 3 and only while an IC tag reader reading an identifier of an IC tag fitted to a sushi dish 6b and a controller 1 communicate with each other, speech input of the kind of a raw material of sushi from a speech input device 4 is recognized for information processing. The controller 1 relates and registers the sushi raw material obtained through the speech recognition and a sushi dish 6b corresponding thereto and then uses them for information processing when the result of a judgement on whether the sushi dish 6b and the sushi raw material obtained by the speech recognition are properly related to each other shows adequacy. When not, on the other hand, that is displayed on a display device 2 and speech input of the kind of the sushi raw material by the speech input device 4 is retried.
