Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution whose high temperature service life characteristics and overvoltage characteristics are satisfactory. SOLUTION: In this electrolytic solution, organic carboxylic acid, such as 1,6-decanoic carboxylic acid or the salt, is doped to an electrolytic solution obtained by dissolving one or more kinds of polyhydric alcohol complex compound of nitric acid obtained from nitric acid and polyhydric alcohol or the salt by 5-40 wt.% of the total amount of nitric acid in a solvent with ethylene glycol as main components. Thus, an electrolytic capacitor whose voltage resistance is made high and whose service life characteristics and overvoltage characteristics are satisfactory can be obtained by using the electrolytic solution.
