To provide a fuel cell capable of providing sufficient gas between cells of a fuel cell and reducing the current collection loss, to have superior power generation performance.
In the fuel cell, in which a plurality of cells 1 of the fuel cell each including, at least, an interior electrode 11, a gas passageway 16 formed on the inside of the interior electrode 11, a solid electrolyte 12 formed on the outside of the interior electrode 11 and an exterior electrode 13 formed on the outside of the solid electrolyte 12, are arranged in a storing container; each plate-shape current collection member 20 is disposed between the cells 1 and the cells 1 opposite to each other are connected electrically; the plate-shape current collecting member 20 is connected with the exterior electrode 13 of the cells 1 and the plate-shape current collecting member 20 is connected with the exterior electrode 13 within 19-60 % of the area of the exterior electrode 13.
