Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shoe uppers which are excellent in sewing workability of the shoe uppers and pull-over workability in a shoe assembling process step and in the pliability, bendability, fitness and durability in wearing the finished shoes. SOLUTION: The shoe uppers are formed by plain weave using twist yarn consisting of a plurality as warp in a longitudinal direction of the shoe uppers and single yarn as weft in the short side direction of the shoe uppers. The tensile strength of the shoe uppers is made higher in the longitudinal direction of the shoes, by which the stiffness thereof is made higher.
