Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for manufacturing a label which is thermally shrunk and attached to a container, such as a plastic bottle or glass bottle, has light blocking effect, is hardly elongatable, has hardness (stiffness) and has high tear strength as well, and a label formed with the same film and the container which is thermally shrunk and fitted with this label. SOLUTION: This white film for the heat shrinkable label includes a white thermoplastic resin layer containing white particulates. The thermal shrinkage rate in the main shrinking direction when the film is immersed in hot water of 80 deg.C for 10 seconds is <=15% and the average value of the total ray transmittance at a wavelength 400 to 700 nm when the film is shrunk 5% in the main shrinking direction is <=50%. In addition, the white film for the heat shrinkable label does not substantially include voids. This label is manufactured from the white film. Further, the container thermally shrunk and fitted with this label is provided.
