In the manufacturing method of the porous membrane containing a process removing low molecular weight substances from the porous membrane containing the low molecular weight substances after the membrane is manufactured, the low molecular weight substances are dissolved and washed with a washing solvent, the remaining washing solvent is dissolved and substituted with liquified gas or supercritical gas, and then drying under reduced pressure is conducted.
