Abstract:
Elastic laminates (10) and methods of making same are provided, wherein the laminate includes an elastic film (12) laminated to at least one substrate web (18), and wherein the elastic film (12) has been stretched at least twice prior to bonding the film to the substrate layer (18). Such laminates (10) possess improved bond strength between the film (12) and the substrate web (18) and have greater elongation versus laminates made with a film that has been stretched only once.
