Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for generating hydrogen, by which the heating temperature for generating hydrogen can be lowered and a sufficient amount of hydrogen can be generated in a short time even at such a low temperature. SOLUTION: The method for generating hydrogen comprises heating a metal hydride complex in the presence of a compound oxide containing lithium and thermally decomposing the metal hydride complex to generate hydrogen.
