Abstract:
To provide a method for recovering oil efficiently from oil-contaminated soil.
The method for recovering oil from oil-contaminated soil in situ comprises the steps of: heating an oil-contaminated place existing in a saturated layer below the surface of ground water by using steam to promote the mobility of oil being a contaminant; blowing air in the oil-contaminated place from below through an air injection well to float oil to the surface of ground water; and recovering oil from an oil recovery well to decrease the oil concentration in the oil-contaminated soil.
