Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polycarbonate resin molding material for optics which has an excellent heat stability and a high precision transferability and also a long-period reliability, and to provide an optical disk base board therefrom. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin molding material for optics having high precision transferability, is characterized in that it comprises a blended resin composition containing 60-99 wt.% of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (PC-A) obtained from 2,2-bis-(4-hydroxyphenyl) propane as a dihydric phenol component and 1-40 wt.% of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (PC-M) obtained from a compound as a dihydric phenol component, wherein the compound is expressed by formula (1) (wherein R1 to R4 are each independently hydrogen atom or a 1-4C hydrocarbyl group) and in that the above resin composition has a sodium compound content converted into metallic sodium of 1 ppm or less.
