To catch measured information where an S/N is improved in the case of measuring information about a trunk middle tissues.
At one lateral abdominal part of a trunk abdominal region, one common electrode having a large electrode area to be used as a current application electrode and a pressure measurement electrode is disposed. At two sites effective for measuring subcutaneous fatty tissues at the other lateral abdominal part, current application electrodes are arranged respectively. In the vicinity of the middle of the current application electrodes, a potential difference between the common electrode and the two voltage measurement electrodes is measured while switching the combination of enegization between the common electrode and the voltage measurement electrodes. Thus, two trunk impedances controlled by the subcutaneous fat tissues and one trunk impedance controlled by the trunk middle tissues at the two sites are obtained, and a subcutaneous fat tissues layer impedance and a trunk middle impedance required for estimating a trunk fat quantity are calculated by logical guidance from the trunk impedances.
