Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treatment method and a facility which can reduce excess sludge generation attendant on the biological treatment of organic drainage and can improve the nature (water quality) of processed water. SOLUTION: In a wastewater treating facility 10, a solid-liquid separation tank 2 is connected to a biological treatment tank 1 to which raw water W is supplied and which is provided with a flocculant supply tank 9. Further, in the poststage, an ozone treatment tank 3, a dissolving tank 4, a flocculation tank 6 and a solid-liquid separation tank 7 are arranged successively. After flocculant X is added and aerobic treatment is performed, the solid-liquid separation of the raw water W supplied to the biological treatment tank 1 is carried out. Part of activated sludge S is transported to an ozone treatment tank 3 as excess sludge, and is made soluble. The aggregate contained in the sludge is once dissolved in the dissolving tank 4, and is subsequently flocculated again in the flocculation tank 6. Thereby, phosphorus contained in the raw water W and the activated sludge S are almost completely removed, and the water quality of processed water Ws is improved markedly.
