Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in clutch engagement failure determination of a hybrid automobile and control a driving mode based on it in which control is requested to be further suitable and attentive to respective failures. SOLUTION: Torque is applied to a front driving motor 34 to such an extent that a vehicle does not move, and the rotating state of an input shaft of a CVT 36 before and after application of torque is detected. According to the detection result, an engagement failure of the C1 clutch 94 is determined, and according to the determination result, the driving mode is controlled.
