Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable many users to take out latest information to be updated at all the time by distributing update information as the latest information to be updated for catalog publication on the internet or recording that information on an electronic recording medium and distributing it. SOLUTION: When fetching the update information for catalog publication provided by a data distribution source 1 through an electronic information recording medium with the recorded update information to the personal computer(PC) 4 side of an information user, after that update information is temporarily fetched into a memory 9 on the PC 4 side, that update information is recorded on a novel electronic information recording medium while accessing that memory by using a program 13 for catalog update so that an electronic catalog, on which the latest information is describled, can be updated and prepared.
