Abstract:
To improve the image quality of a tomogram by preventing the generation of artifact of the tomogram due to displacement of detector elements.
An X-ray tube irradiates X rays on a subject, and the detector elements disposed on the detector surface of a multirow X-ray detector or an area X-ray detector detect the X-rays transmitting through the reconstruction region P and output projection data. A displacement correction means corrects the projection data by the respective detector elements of the X-ray detector based on the premeasured and prestored displacement distances of the detector elements.
