An infrared ray transmission section 18 of the input terminal transmission apparatus 1 transmits an infrared ray to an object through an infrared ray transmission port 17. In this case, the infrared ray transmission apparatus 1 executes infrared ray communication according to, e.g. a prescribed protocol. In the infrared ray communication in general, a transmission range and a transmission angle of the infrared ray are predetermined as an arrival warrant range (angle). In this case, a transmission range display section 21 allows a display apparatus 12 to display a transmission range of the infrared ray transmitted from the infrared ray transmission section 18.
