To provide a workflow system that can flexibly control the process of bulk approval and surely prompt transactors to approve slips that need to be approved individually, by registering rules of bulk approval by each kind of slip, and determining whether each slip subject to approval can be approved in bulk or needs to be approved individually.
A user sets and registers rules of bulk approval beforehand for each kind of job (slip). When an approver who starts job approval selects jobs for bulk approval, it is determined whether the jobs can be approved in bulk, according to the rules registered beforehand; and when the result of the determination is that the jobs match the rules and can be approved in bulk, the selected jobs are approved in bulk. when there are jobs that do not match the rules and cannot be approved in bulk, approval screens are opened individually to prompt the approver for individual approval.
