To provide an interior article for a vehicle such as an instrument panel in which an air bag door part is not scattered by impact at expansion of an air bag at low cost.
In the interior article for the vehicle, a first fragile part 7 forming the air bag door part 9, and a second fragile part 13 forming a plurality of hinge parts with a gap along an end edge of the air bag door part 9, are ruptured by operation of the air bag device. The air bag door part 9 is cut off from a panel constitution member body 3 and is opened in the state where the air bag door part 9 is integrally connected to one end of a hinge part 15. The hinge part 15 is cut off from a non-hinge part 19 in the state where the other end of the hinge part 15 is integrally connected to the panel constitution member body 3 and is raised up from the panel constitution member body 3 while curving/deforming it. A boss part for mounting the air bag device supported on an instrument panel reinforcement is provided on a back surface of the panel constitution member body of the non-hinge part 19 except for the hinge part 15 of a second fragile part formation area A2.
