In a storage area management device, a pre-analysis processing part 13 detects feature data featuring the structure of structured data to generate analysis result information as a parameter of estimating storage capacity, a storage area estimation information storage part 16 stores storage capacity estimation information for estimating storage capacity based on the parameter, a storage area decision part 15 acquires the storage area estimation information corresponding to the parameter matching the analysis result information from the storage area estimation information storage part 16 to decide a storage capacity from the storage area estimation information, and a storage area management part 17 allocates a storage area equivalent to the storage capacity.
