To provide a pigment sensitizing type solar cell blind in which the advantages of a pigment sensitizing type solar cell are used, the advantages being easy assembly, high power generating efficiency and high durability, and convenience not only for installation but also for transportation.
In this pigment sensitizing type solar cell blind, a plurality of long vanes are disposed so that their long-sides are parallel with each other. The pigment sensitizing type solar cell with a three layer structure formed of a pigment sensitizing type photoelectrode layer, charge transportation layer, and an opposed electrode layer is installed on each of the vanes. The pigment sensitizing type solar cells are electrically connected in series or in parallel between the vanes. The pigment sensitizing type solar cell is formed of long rectangular parallelepiped unit cells with a short side of 1 to 5 cm and a long side of 10 to 50 cm. A linear metal terminal is fitted to the cell in contact with the opposed electrode layer and along one long side. The long rectangular parallelepiped unit cells are disposed on one vane in one row so that their long sides are parallel with the long sides of the vane, and electrically connected in series or in parallel.
