Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, its control method, and a storage medium which feed paper so as to meet user's desire better than by the conventional function when the paper form is automatically selected or paper feed port is automatically changed when the paper is running-out. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a RAM 126 and a CPU circuit part 122, and form classifications are stored in the RAM correspondingly to plural paper feed ports, and the priority order of paper classifications is stored there, and the CPU circuit part 122 performs the control to select one from plural paper feed ports as the paper feed port, from which paper should be fed, in accordance with paper from classifications and the priority order which are stored in the RAM 126.
