To provide a system for feeding a gas capable of automatically performing a gas feeding operation into a container and accurately adjusting the inner pressure in the container, and to provide a method for feeding the gas.
The gas is fed into the container 2 by a first feeding pressure, and thereafter, the feeding pressure of the gas is made to a second feeding pressure lower than the first feeding pressure to feed the gas into the container 2 to make the inside of the container 2 to a specified inner pressure. A controlling part 6 calculates the volume of a space which is determined by subtracting the volume of a powder stored in the container 2 from the whole volume in the container 2 from the cumulative amount of feeding of the gas fed into the container 2 and the inner pressure of the container 2, and an additional cumulative amount of feed necessary for pressurizing the inner pressure of the volume of the space to a specified value can be calculated thereby.
