Abstract:

To provide an inexpensive coating composition capable of reducing the adsorption of biologically related matter including protein to the surface of various parts, vessels, instruments or the like to be used for biochemical analysis, protein separation or refining or the like, to provide articles bearing coating film made from the composition, and to provide a method for forming coating film using the composition.

The coating composition comprises (A) a copolymer obtained from monomers comprising a monomer A1 of general formula(1):CH2=CR3COOR1OR2(wherein, R1is a 1-4C alkylene; R2is a 1-4C alkyl; and R3is H or methyl) and an isocyanate group-containing monomer A2, (B) a crosslinking agent reactive to the isocyanate group and (C) a solvent.
