A control device outputs to the bus a signal (Tx) carrying control device information and receives a signal associated with an actual bus signal (Rx). The signal Rx corresponds to a logical combination of the signal Tx with the actual bus signal. The signal Rx may correspond to a logical OR combination. An Independent claim is included for an apparatus for transmitting data with interference-immunity in an optical bus.
