To provide effective technology for decreasing the number of parts related to a state informing part for informing the driving state of an end tool in a power tool.
This power tool 101 includes: a housing 103; the end tool mounted in a housing; a motor 111 accommodated in the housing to drive the end tool; a baffle plate 110 accommodated in the housing to guide cooling air of the motor 111 to flow in a predetermined direction; an informing means 123 accommodated in the housing to optically inform the drive state of the end tool; and a translucent cover 125 covering the informing means on the outer surface of the housing. The translucent cover 125 is constituted by an outward exposed part of the housing 103 in the baffle plate 119.
