To provide a repeater capable of suppressing delays in non-real-time data, when traffic is concentrated.
In the repeater, real-time data and non-real-time data are received, the received real-time data and non-real-time data are stored; the occupied rate of a transmission band of the real-time data to a maximum transmission band or a transmission band of the real-time data and the non-real-time data to be transmitted or the occupied rate of the real-time data to the stored real-time data; non-real-time data are measured, the cancel rate of the real-time data is determined, on the basis of the measured rate; a part of the real-time data to be transmitted is canceled without being transmitted, on the basis of the cancel rate; and then the non-real-time data to be transmitted and the real-time data which are not canceled out from among the real-time data to be transmitted are transmitted.
