Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery, in which bending of a sealing part is made easier and a volume energy density is enhanced, without a risk of causing cracks in metal layers of metal-resin compound films. SOLUTION: As for the sealed battery 10, a housing convex part 16 is formed on one of the metal-resin compound films 12, a power generation element 24 is housed in the housing convex part 16, one side of metal-resin compound film 12 in which the power generation element 24 is housed is overlapped by the other metal-resin compound film 14, and the inner surfaces of the one pair of overlapped metal-resin compound films 12, 14 are welded and sealed with each other, and at least one part of the welded and sealed sealing part 26 is bent and placed along a side face 17 of the housing convex part 16. The sealed part 26 is set not to go over a ceiling surface 18 of the housing convex part 16, and also set so that a degree of elongation of metal layers (12A, 14A) in a bending part 27 of the sealing part 26 does not exceed 1.5.
