To display an image on a secondary monitor that does not bring discomfort to participants during presentation while editing work is visually carried out through a primary monitor.

When the utility software US sensing a first operation in an input means 6 outputs an image substitution command to a device driver 4, the device driver replaces a presentation image displayed on a secondary monitor 3 by a preliminarily determined image and fixes the image state, while displaying the presentation image on a primary monitor 2 to be edited by a notebook personal computer (PC) 1. After the presentation image is edited by the notebook PC, the utility software senses a second operation through the input means and outputs an image substitution command to the device driver, then the device driver replaces the preliminarily determined image displayed on the secondary monitor by an edited presentation image displayed on the primary monitor and displays the edited image on the secondary monitor.
