To provide a battery buffering jig and a buffering method of battery preventing collision of adjacent batteries, surely holding the battery and assuring a stable electricity conduction, even if a case housing serially connected batteries repeatedly receives vibration for a long time.
The buffering jig 1 is provided with an elastic body 2 preventing collision of batteries connected in series with the use of elastic restoring force, and an anode-side contact part 3 jointed to an end of the elastic body so as to be parallel with an electrode face of the battery, ready to be conducted. The elastic body 2, consists of, for instance, a conductive coil spring 2, an inner diameter of which is a little larger than an outer diameter of a cathode-side protrusion of the battery, and a length of the coil spring 2 at the most contracted time is longer than the cathode-side protrusion of the battery. The anode-side contact part 3, for instance, consists of a circular metal plate 3, adhered to an anode side of the battery.
