To provide a solid oxide fuel cell capable of further unifomizing the temperatures of each generating cell, thereby improves, the generating efficiency as a whole.
The solid oxide fuel cell 1 comprises a fuel cell stack 3 formed by laminating a generating cell 7 and a separator 10 alternately, a case 2 for housing the fuel cell stack 3, a fuel gas supply means and an oxidant gas supply means for supplying a fuel gas and an oxidant gas respectively from the outside of this case 2 into the fuel cell stack 3, and an exhaust means for exhausting the gas discharged from the fuel cell stack 3 to the outside of the case. Exhaust pipes 20, 21, 22 penetrating through the wall face 2a of the case 2, extending into the case, having gas inlet ports 20a, 21a, 22a at the tip part are used as the exhaust means.
