Abstract:

To provide a production method of a denitration catalyst maintaining a high denitration performance and having remarkably reduced SO2oxidation activity.

In a production method of a denitration catalyst of which oxidation activity is oxides of titanium and molybdenum or oxides of tungsten and vanadium, a molded body consisting essentially of oxides of titanium and molybdenum, oxides of titanium and tungsten or oxides of titanium and silicon is formed as the wet-type substrate of a catalyst and a V-rich catalyst powder is carried, dried and fired on the surface of the molded body. Thus, the objective catalyst maintaining a high denitration performance and having SO2oxidation activity reduced to about 1/3 of that of the conventional catalyst is obtained.
