To provide a radar system that is superior in heat radiation properties, even if the system is miniaturized.
The radar system 1 is arranged with its front face directed frontwards in a vehicle (not shown). The system is provided with an antenna housing 3, where a plurality of horns 2 opened at the front face 1a spreading gradually toward the front face 1a side; and a horn antenna 7, which has a power feeder 6 containing waveguides 5 communicating with the horns 2 and connected to the housing 3, and radiates electric waves into a space and receives the reflected waves of the radiated electric waves from the space. A radio section 8 for generating a high-frequency signal to be supplied to the feeder 6, or for converting the reflected high-frequency signal into an intermediate frequency signal, is arranged, closely adhering to the feeder 6, and a circuit 10 is provided for controlling the high-frequency signal, or processing the intermediate frequency signal.
