Abstract:
A system and a method for changing a style of a web document are provided to manage setting information related to the style of the web document without using many parameters, and simplify a field structure of a database and a script of the web document when the setting information related to the style of the web document is managed. A CSS(Cascading Style Sheet) database(102) stores CSS data related to style components of a web document. A user CSS database(104) stores the web document CSS data of users by each user. A style information processing server(100) transmits the CSS data for the style component to be modified by the user to a user client(106) by using information of the CSS database. A CSS parser extracts the user CSS data from the user CSS database and parses the user CSS data when the user requests modification of the web document style. The style information processing server transmits the parsed user CSS data to the user client. The script executed in the user client pares the CSS data corresponding to the selected style among the CSS data for the selected style component, converts the parsed CSS data into an object module, and checks the parsed user CSS data based on object model information.
