To provide a prior authentication method for predicting the moving destination access point of a user and sending required authentication information beforehand with respect to an access point with the high probability of movement, and to provide a communication system.
By using a movement result among a plurality of access points by at least one mobile communication terminal, a condition that satisfies access point satisfying the condition of probability that the mobile communication terminal 10A switches access from the access point, where a mobile communication terminal 10A performing radio communication at present, is extracted from a plurality of access points. Then, an authenticating server system 110A that overall controls authentication at the plurality of access points transmits prior authentication information, relating to the mobile communication terminal 10A, to each of the condition-satisfying access points extracted in the extraction process.
